10 DLC Registration for Texting

What's happening?
Messaging Aggregators that LinkedPhone uses to support messaging traffic have started blocking restricted numbers from sending outbound text messages. This is part of an initiative spearheaded by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). The primary MNOs participating in this initiative, known as 10DLC (10 Digit Long Code), include AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. They have implemented measures where messages may be filtered or blocked if the sender's brand has not been duly registered.

What do I need to know?
The requirement for end users to register is aimed at enhancing the security and reliability of text messaging services. This also provides the Messaging Aggregator with relevant service information to reduce the likelihood of false positive filtering and wrongful SPAM blocks. This is a universal requirement, applicable regardless of the virtual phone number service provider you choose.
